Mind (Learning: Bible Study, Education, etc.)
Our Savior’s “Church Life” does not only happen on Sunday mornings. It happens throughout the week at the church, at people’s homes, as well as lots of other locations. Church Life Groups were developed to help you find your place in the life of the congregation. To fully be engaged in the Gospel of Christ, we encourage all to grow in their spiritual maturity by being meaningfully involved in three different aspects of Church Life…
- Mind (Learning: Bible Study, Education, etc.)
- Body (Serving: Service Opportunities)
- Soul (Connecting: Discipleship, Fellowship)

Below are the studies that Our Savior's offers.
Leaders: Pastor Tom Hux or Pastor Jody Becker
Day/Time/Location: Sundays, 9:45 a.m., Gym
Introduction: In order to encourage our congregation to be more intentional in living out the Great Commission, the Pastors are introducing this Life-to-Life discipleship experience. An important part of this initiative is engaging our congregations in learning how to have discipling conversations with others in ways that are faithful and natural. This Life-to-Life discipleship class is intended to be
an experience rather than a course. Yes, it will engage the mind in sound learning but the ultimate goal is to change hearts and implant a deep desire to live out the Great Commission in our personal and congregational life.
Leader: Nancy Merzenich
Day / Time / Location: Tuesdays, 9:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m., BHCH
Introduction: We study a book of the Bible using the inductive study method from Precept Ministries International by Kay Arthur. The inductive study method will teach you how to interpret Scripture and to apply God’s truths to your life. This study requires homework.
