by Noble Deckard, Stewardship Chair;
As we near the end of our Lenten season and look forward to the Easter celebration of our risen Christ, may we continue to take time to remember the promises of our stewardship last fall. We asked that each of us commit to a stewardship of prayer, talents, and treasure. Thankfully our congregation has continued to follow those promises even through these continued challenging times. Our pastors and staff have provided us with daily devotion leadership. Hopefully you have been able to take advantage of those daily devotions in your prayer time. We continue to see the sharing of the congregational talent resources in the many activities – music, worship support, video recordings, Christian education (adult, children). And the list goes on!
We also see the continuing financial support from the congregation. Giving continues to reach and support these many programs. Thank you! As we continue to look forward to being back to in-person worship for our entire congregation, continue including your promise of prayer, talents, and treasure. As Paul wrote in,
Therefore, we are ambassadors of Christ,
God making his appeal through us. We implore
you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.
For our sake he made him to be sin, so that in him
we might become the righteousness of God.2 Corinthians 5:20-21
