Christian
Education
is a high priority at Our Savior's. We focus on teaching
the Bible and ensuring "that all children might know
Christ's love." This is accomplished by offering a
variety of educational opportunities such as Sunday
morning education, periodical weekly programs and special
classes.

Day Morning LIVE:
Imagine
an education program that is the "best hour of your
child's week." "Son"Day Morning LIVE
is not your stereotypical Sunday "School"
program. Instead it offers lots of music, drama, and
exciting storyteller and puppets. Children also form a
loving and caring relationship with their "CrossTrainer."
CrossTrainers help the children build closer relationships
with Christ. "Son"

Day Morning LIVE Programs
DISCOVERY ( 3 years - Kindergarten)

Music
Opening includes age appropriate music, puppet shows
and birthday celebrations.

Group time
for 3 years olds, 4 & 5 year olds and kindergarten
includes Bible lessons, crafts, and snacks in a
classroom setting.
Focus
(1st - 3rd Graders) and IMPACT (4th - 5th Graders)

Large
Group Time includes music, hearing the Bible lessons
through skits, puppet shows and interactive activities
on the stage.

Small
Groups Time builds relationships between children who
have been divided into groups according to gender and
grade. During this time the children continue to
explore the Bible lesson through inter-active
activities and discussion.
Bible
Story Time
Children
are encouraged to attend worship, but an alternative Bible
Story Time during the 11:15 a.m. service for those 4 years
old through 2nd grade.
Acolyte
Training
Training
is available for students who wish to assist in the
worship as acolytes.
First
Communion Class
Each
year OSLC offers children the opportunity to receive
instruction for their First Communion. This is a one-day
parent and child class.
Bible
101
Students
learn how to use their Bibles during this one-day parent
and student class. All students who attend this class
receive a Bible.
